AI Engineer
Build production AI features end to end: assistants, retrieval, agents and automations that solve real business problems, shipped into live products with real users.
What you will do.
Real production work on live systems, not research.
- 01
Design and build LLM-powered features: chat and voice assistants, retrieval-augmented generation, summarisation, extraction and classification over real business data
- 02
Build agents and automations that take actions in live systems, with the guardrails, permissions and audit trails that make that safe
- 03
Write and maintain evaluation suites so quality is measured, not vibes: golden sets, regression checks and cost and latency budgets
- 04
Take features from prototype to production: monitoring, fallbacks, rate limits and graceful failure when a provider has a bad day
- 05
Work directly with the people who will use what you build, and explain technical trade-offs in plain language
What you will bring.
If you have most of this and can show it, apply.
- Shipped LLM-backed features to production, not just notebooks and demos
- Strong Python or TypeScript, and the engineering habits that go with production code: tests, review, observability
- Hands-on experience with the major model APIs, embeddings, vector search and prompt design under real constraints
- A working sense of when AI is the wrong tool, and the honesty to say so
- Clear written and spoken communication with non-technical people
Nice to have
- Experience with agent frameworks or building tool-using agents from scratch
- Fine-tuning or small-model distillation for cost or latency wins
- Security awareness around prompt injection and data leakage in LLM apps
