What does a fractional CTO actually do?
A few hours a month of senior judgement: architecture calls, vendor decisions, reviewing what your developers ship, interviewing hires and answering the technical questions investors and enterprise customers ask. You get a standing meeting and a written note after each one.
Can you review software another company built for us?
Yes. A rescue audit looks at the code, hosting, security and the accounts, then tells you plainly whether to keep it, fix it or replace it, and what each path costs in effort.
Do you do technical due diligence for investments?
Yes. We review the codebase, infrastructure, security posture, team and roadmap, and deliver a report written for people who are not engineers, with the risks ranked.
Are you independent of the vendors you recommend?
Yes. We have no reseller arrangements. Recommendations come with the reasons, and the accounts are always set up in your name.
