Is a small tool worth building properly?
If a person spends hours on it every week, yes. Small tools are often the best return on a software budget because the scope is tight and the benefit is immediate. We quote them the same way as anything else, in writing.
Can you replace our spreadsheet without losing the history?
Yes. We import the existing data, check it row by row, and keep the old file as a read-only archive. The new tool records who changed what and when, which the spreadsheet never could.
Will it run on its own?
Scheduled jobs run unattended on Sydney hosting and are monitored. If a job fails you and we get an alert, and the log shows exactly what happened.
What if our process changes later?
Changes are quoted or logged by the hour in your portal. Because the tool is built for your process, adjusting it is usually a small job rather than a workaround.
